Lumut is one of the smaller towns of the state of Perak It is the gateway to Pangkor, about 84 km north of Ipoh , it is approximately a 3 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur or 2 hours from Penang . This quaint town boasts a peculiar atmosphere even to many Malaysians visiting for the first time.
